Oceans Week - Halifax, Nova Scotia. To celebrate Oceans Week HFX through collaboratively planned and executed events throughout Halifax (+ beyond) by offering several free and accessible ocean-focused and community activities to the public. It is organized in close partnership with Poland’s General Command of Branches of Polish Armed Forces and the Inspectorate for the Navy. NATCON - the international tech-science conference on naval technologies for defence and security runs in parallel. This year's conference sessions comprehensively cover maritime systems and technology on military domain, maritime security (including critical infrastructure protection) and safety at sea (including maritime search and rescue). These themes encapsulate the the Ministry of Defence's priority research directions for the years 2017-2022.
